How to Find Xur in the Tower Bazaar

Since the Edge of Fate expansion, Xur no longer roams between planets. He has a permanent spot in the Tower Bazaar, in the narrow alley beside the ramen stand near Ikora Rey. No more guessing his location each week.

Land at the Tower Courtyard landing zone.

Turn right and head past Banshee-44, the gunsmith.

Cross the bridge, head down the stairs and through the hallway.

Turn left and keep walking until you are just before the ramen shop.

Turn right, then right again. Xur is standing right there waiting for you.

Availability: Xur appears at the Friday weekly reset and leaves at the Tuesday reset. His stock refreshes every Friday.

Landmarks and a Fast Route

From the Courtyard landing zone, head right past Banshee-44 and cross the bridge. Take the stairs down, go through the hallway and turn left. Keep going until you are just before the ramen shop, then turn right and right again. Xur will be standing right there. The ramen shop neon is your landmark. Once you see it, you are basically on top of him.

What Xur Sells Each Week

With Edge of Fate, Xur's location is fixed but his items still rotate every Friday. Here is what to expect:

Exotic Engram to help complete your collection.
Three Exotic armor pieces per class for Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. This pool can include the Exotic class item if you have unlocked it.
Exotic weapons from the updated loot pool.
Legendary weapons with random rolls. These change weekly and can be great pickup options while you chase god rolls.
Upgrade materials and currencies such as Strange Coins and other build essentials.

Note: Xur no longer sells Legendary armor. If you are hunting specific armor stat splits, check other vendors or activities that reward armor drops.

Xur currently accepts Strange Coins for most purchases. Bring a stack so you can grab an Exotic, check the weekly Legendary weapon rolls, and pick up materials without a second trip.

Save time with a simple routine. Land at the Courtyard, sprint straight to the Bazaar, and hit Xur first before you start any playlist activity. Grab the Exotic Engram if you still need pieces for your build, then scan the Legendary weapons for standout perks.

If you are short on Strange Coins, run a quick activity that drops them and return to the alley. Since the Tower Bazaar is now his permanent spot, your muscle memory will make this a quick stop each weekend.

If you arrive and the alley is empty, double check the time. Xur does not appear until the Friday reset hits your region. If the alley still looks empty after reset, try reloading the Tower or swapping characters. Instance bugs are rare but a quick rejoin usually fixes it.
